Wednesday Wish List 6/9/10

Rainy Wednesdays like today sometimes make the week seem even longer…so it’s a good thing I’ve got so much to wish for, it keeps me happy and hoping Here’s what made the list this week:

That I owned a lake cabin like the one below

That the rain would stop in time for the weekend…pllleaasseee Mother Nature?

I could go sailing this summer…never done it but would love to try it!

That my mom’s recipes would turn out as good when I make them as when she does…’no one cooks like mom’ is probably the truest statement ever made

That cherry season would last longer…if you have a chance to buy fresh organic American-grown cherries, take it! Support organic farmers, they feed us the good stuff

Wednesday Wish List 6/3/10

Wednesday is here already?! Gotta love those four day work weeks! Here’s what’s on our wish list today, besides another three day weekend

- Fireworks more often than New Year’s and Fourth of July!

- A chance to be on The Amazing Race

- A weekend to go camping/rafting – if you ever have the chance to raft the Deschutes River in Oregon don’t pass it up, it’s amazing!

Wednesday Wish List 5/26/10

I neglected the Wish List last week which means I’m kind of doubling up the awesome today! Here’s what I’m wishing for this Wednesday:

- For a chance to see the Northern Lights

- For a porch swing on my non-existent porch – Confession: they look so relaxing that sometimes when I’m walking through my neighborhood and I see a particularly nice one I have to resist the urge to just go swing for a bit

- That the concept of summer vacation was not exclusive to our education system

- That I could spend a day at one of those really crazy water parks with just my friends – meaning no other visitors, long lines, etc.

- That I could teleport to the Pacific Northwest on a regular basis

-That I would wake up early enough to enjoy a cup of coffee and my book every morning before heading to work

Wednesday Wish List 5/12/10

Guess what? I found Peonies on the side of  my house last night! It’s possible that doesn’t seem very exciting to most people however, if you’ve been reading these lists over the past few weeks you’ll know that one of my wishes was for Peonies to bloom in my front yard. That’s right, one of my wishes basically came true. You can bet I snapped up as many as I could and now my living room smells like heaven! You see, these little lists are actually a good exercise in positivity. Send out all those positive wish vibes and see what comes back to you!

For mandatory afternoon naps. I could bust out my George Costanza office nap abilities if they’d only let me!

For everyone to realize that the Library is actually a FREE Blockbuster.  I never gave much thought to the fact that you can just go in and check out movies and TV shows until I got rid of cable, now I’m addicted!

For a trip to Australia!

Wednesday Wish List – 5/5/10

Wednesday you rock. You reminded me this morning that I am now halfway through the work week and that much closer to the weekend…yay! A relaxing Saturday morning is definitely on my wish list this week, here’s what else is ranking right at the top:

An easy button for those days when everything seems to be a little more difficult than normal…oh waiittt that’s what the iphone’s for. Confession, I don’t really understand all the hype but I’d definitely be willing to try one out!

I don’t know about you, but this week my wish list seemed to skyrocket. I’m completely OK with that…I don’t think you can ever wish too much Here’s our list for the week:

Wednesday you’re here again already??? Is it just me or is time absolutely flying by lately? I guess that’s all the more reason to take a moment to relax and send out your deepest wishes into the universe! We’ve got quite a few on our list today!

Maybe it’s the gorgeous weather and being stuck inside an office, but we’re feeling like this week is dragggginnngg by! All the more reason to keep wishing right? Here’s what’s on our list this week!

- A poolside work from home office

- Mandatory afternoon naps (ahhh to be five again)

- Happiness for all our friends and family

- That our air conditioners keep working for the next five months
